Kenny works across Scarlatti’s data science projects, particularly those involving impact modelling, agricultural and environmental economics, predictive analytics and AI solutions. His work often focuses on problems where both the data and the real-world context are important.
Kenny’s expertise is in economic modelling and data analysis, with a focus on causal inference. He is experienced in combining data and statistical evidence with simulation approaches that are designed to answer specific decision questions. His work helps clients explore the potential implications of environmental change, policy options and investment decisions.
Kenny also works with frontier AI tools to support research productivity across the team. This includes making traditional research and analysis approaches faster, as well as enabling new approaches to evidence gathering, analysis and insight generation.
He holds a Doctorate in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
