Adam founded Scarlatti in 2004 and today works across a wide range of our projects and services. While much of Adam’s role involves providing oversight across projects, he also like getting involved in the detail of some project work.
Adam enjoys interrogating complex problems down to their logical roots, then working back up to identify possible solutions. He also has a strong focus on developing the team and creating opportunities for them to grow and contribute their skills.
He has strengths in modelling and enjoys working with the team to build and maintain models and simulations. Adam’s modelling work supports clients to explore complex questions, test assumptions, understand possible impacts and make more informed decisions.
Adam champions the team to develop new tools and products, including Confer and Vocina. This reflects his interest in applying data, technology and AI in practical ways that support better research, evaluation and decision-making.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland and a Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
