Kate works across Scarlatti’s strategy facilitation, people and behaviour research and data visualisation projects. She combines her research background with strong design and visual communication skills to help our clients make sense of complex information and turn it into clear, useful outputs.

Kate is involved in projects where teams need to work through complex questions, bring different perspectives together and move from discussion to clear priorities and next steps. She helps gather and make sense of qualitative data, then translates it into findings that are accessible, grounded and relevant to the decisions clients need to make. She creates processes that focus conversations and provide shared direction and practical action, while keeping people at the heart - always seeking to understand others' experiences, perspectives and priorities.

Kate’s strength is in making complex information look simple, without losing the details behind it. She creates summary documents, slide decks, reports and visual outputs that are clear, polished and easy to use.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Cultural Anthropology and Asian Studies, and a Masters in Migration Studies (with Distinction), both from Victoria University of Wellington.
